Our providers can perform state required sports physicals, aka preparticipation physical evaluation (PPE) to clear them to play sports. Please bring in necessary paperwork for the provider to fill out. The visit typically includes gathering medical history and a full physical exam of height and weight, vitals, visual acuity, heart, lung, muscle, and joint examination.

Chinese Cupping Therapy – $50

Our physicians frequently use traditional Chinese cupping to alleviate pain, improve circulation, loosen muscles, and reduce inflammation. It is a great complement to deep-tissue and acupuncture, or as a stand-alone treatment. The providers use a small flame to create a suction within a glass cup and place it on your skin. The heat creates a suction that draws blood to the surface and promotes healing.

Spine and Joint Manipulation – $100

Dr. Paul Despres specializes in joint and spinal manipulations to resolve misalignment of joints and vertebrae. His techniques are comparable to a chiropractor, but he frequently adds in soft-tissue manipulation to provide more comprehensive relief.

Low Level Laser Therapy – $75

Dr. Paul Despres specializes in the use of Low-level laser therapy (LLLT), aka cold laser therapy, which is an FDA therapy. A session is typically 15-30 minutes and it consists of the application of low-level red or near-infrared light to the skin’s surface which causes numerous beneficial reactions at the cellular level. The absorption of photons stimulates many of the body’s natural healing mechanisms to restore cellular and tissue function. Dr. Despres frequently uses it for:

  • Acute and chronic pain
  • Major and minor injuries to ligaments, muscles, tendons, and bones.
  • Wounds and burns requiring tissue regeneration
  • Neuropathy– by stimulating blood oxygenation and circulation, promoting nerve repair and helping decrease pain and discomfort
  • Lung conditions – reduces fibrosis production, decreases interstitial thickening, increases pulmonary elasticity, down regulates pro-inflammatory cytokines
  • Acute and chronic infections – stimulates the immune system to fight an infection
  • Skin rejuvenation – beneficial effects on wrinkles, scars, UV damage
  • Post Covid-19 Syndrome – including lung fibrosis, fatigue, chronic cough.
  • Pigmentary disorders such as vitiligo
  • Joint conditions and arthralgias such as RA and OA

Constitutional Hydrotherapy – $150

A classic “Nature Cure” naturopathic modality that involves a series of hot and cold towels applied to the chest, abdomen and back in conjunction with mild electrical stimulation to the back and abdomen. Procedure lasts roughly 60 minutes and a series of at least 6 sessions is recommended. Stimulates the largest parasympathetic nerve known as the vagus nerve, which connects your gut (enteric nervous system) to the brain. Increases the movement of lymph and the elimination of metabolic wastes through the skin, liver, lungs, kidneys, and colon. Beneficial effects include:
– Reduces inflammation and chronic pain.
– Tonifies organs of digestion, absorption, and elimination.
– Modulates & strengthens the immune system (increases immune cell levels).
– Stimulates the detoxification of endogenous and exogenous toxins.
– Restores nervous system equilibrium by shifting an individual from sympathetic (fight, flight, freeze) to parasympathetic (rest, digest, restore) => reducing stress and enhancing sleep.
